AMP CAPTURING
THU is the first amp simulator which includes both the amp modeling and capturing technologies.
The Overloud proprietary technology allows our engineers to capture the response of an entire rig, including the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier and the room sound.
Each Rig File is an ultra-realistic snapshot of an entire setup. Typically, setups are captured multiple times at different gear settings to provide a variety of tones with the best possible configurations. These multiple Rig captures are bundled into Rig Libraries, available as THU Expansions.

Over 42,000 Rigs have been captured by the world's leading sound designers, like Choptones, Michael Nielsen, Live Ready Sounds and Bert Meulendijk, and organized in more than 160 Rig Libraries.
The Rig Player, integrated into THU, lets you reproduce every nuance of sampled rigs and incorporate them into your sound chain. You can also fine-tune the tone and dynamics of the rig to match your personal preferences after it has been captured.

FLUID MODELING REVEALED
Overloud’s Fluid Modeling is the innovative technology able to capture the exact tone of a device and, at the same time, replicate the full dynamic of each knob. By capturing multiple settings and retrofitting the model to recreate the sampled tone, it delivers unmatched realism.
FLUID IRs EXPLAINED
Fluid IRs are an advanced form of impulse responses that encapsulate more detailed sonic characteristics compared to traditional IRs. Unlike regular IRs that merely mimic a speaker's frequency response, Fluid IRs also reproduce the speaker's dynamic behavior and harmonics. This enhancement delivers a tone that is more robust, lifelike, and direct, with better management of the bass frequencies.
All THU cabinets and all of the SuperCabinet libraries are based on Fluid IRs. Additionally, users have the option to upload their own conventional IRs into THU, taking advantage of Overloud's proprietary Fluid IR technology. This technology utilizes an AI algorithm trained to transform your IRs by recreating their dynamic and harmonic responses.
MOD THE MODELS!
Thanks to Fluid Modeling technology, THU introduces a new panel that lets you swap preamp and power tube models while also simulating the effect of a variac.
You can even transform a solid state model to a tube one and vice versa.
This feature allows you to mod any amplifier model with virtually limitless tube combinations, unlocking entirely new sonic possibilities.
POLYPHONIC GLOBAL TRANSPOSER
A MIDI-controllable, polyphonic transpose function is available on the master panel for on-the-fly adjustments of the tuning.
FULL MIDI CONTROL
Setting up a MIDI floorboard is as easy as clicking an element on the THU interface and pressing the corresponding pedal on the MIDI floorboard. THU learns the MIDI connection and makes it instantly available in any preset. Gigs have never been so much fun with THU!
BASS MODELS INCLUDED
