Choptones Supercab IR Library created by capturing a Friedman* 4x12 with Celestion* G12-65 Heritage speakers

Fried 4x12 G1265 - Supercab IR Library
Fried 4x12 G1265 is the Choptones Supercab IR Library created by capturing a Friedman* 4x12 with Celestion* G12-65 Heritage speakers.
It is an extensive and systematic capture created with 11 microphones, 8 to 16 positions each microphone and multiple Mic preamps, for more than 300 IRs globally.
The cabinet is straight front, closed back, solid Baltic Birch construction, usually built with two speakers in it to give the warmth of the greenback and the punch of the V30, but great with other speakers as well. The speaker, with its fast attack and tight low-end the G12-65 is one of the best speaker to use in a 4x12 cabinet. Originally made in the late 70's it became soon the choice of rock guitarist of that era.
Captures are performed with a motorized mic stand in order to have consistent measurements across libraries.
