VTH 4x12 P50 - Supercab IR Library
VTH 4x12 P50 is the Choptones Supercab IR Library created by capturing a VHT* 4x12 with VHT* P50-E speakers.
It is an extensive and systematic capture created with 11 microphones, 8 to 16 positions each microphone and multiple Mic preamps, for more than 300 IRs globally.
The cabinet is slanted front, closed back, Birch plywood construction, amazing solid 90s cab. The speaker, made in USA by Eminence, re-branded VHT* or Fryette in some cases, this speaker is the perfect voice for Metal, with its big low end and peculiar midrange.
Captures are performed with a motorized mic stand in order to have consistent measurements across libraries.
